Since 1 October, a new UK-wide duty applies to e-liquid: 22p on every millilitre, with VAT on top. It's the biggest change to vape prices in years, and it affects every shop and online retailer in the country.
We know that's a lot to take on — especially if vaping is what keeps you off the cigarettes. So we're doing what we can: holding duty-free stock in the shop for as long as we can.
What does "duty free" mean?
Simply this: stock on our shelves that the new duty hasn't been added to. While it lasts, you're not paying the duty on it. Once it's gone, it's gone — after that the duty applies, here and everywhere else.
How to tell: look for the stamp
Every product the duty has been paid on has to carry an official duty stamp on its packaging. That gives you a simple check, in our shop or anyone else's: no stamp means no duty has been paid on it — so the duty isn't a reason for it to cost you more. If you're being charged the duty, the stamp should be there to show for it.
What the duty adds
To give you an idea of what you're dodging, here's the tax the duty puts on some everyday buys:

How long will it last?
Honestly, we can't say — and we'd rather not promise something we can't keep. It depends on how quickly things sell. Flavours and availability may change at any time, so if there's something you rely on, the safest bet is to pop in or call us on 01633 760 034 before you make the trip.
Making the most of it
- Grab your regulars. If you've got a go-to flavour, now's the time to pick it up.
- Shortfill fans: nic shots are still free with shortfills, for now.
- Just ask. Not sure what's still duty free? Ask at the counter and we'll point you to it.
- Keep collecting. Every purchase still earns points on our loyalty scheme.
