Heads Up: A New Vape Tax Is Coming

From 1 October 2026 the UK introduces a brand-new duty on e-liquid. Here's the quick version — and where to get the full breakdown.

We wanted to flag a change that's coming to every vape shop in the country, not just ours: a new UK-wide Vaping Products Duty starts on 1 October 2026, adding a flat rate of tax to every millilitre of e-liquid sold.

This isn't a Bex Vapes price rise. The duty is set by the government and applies equally to every shop and online retailer in the UK. Wherever you buy your liquid from 1 October 2026, the same 22p per ml is baked in — we're just making sure nothing catches you by surprise at the till.

Want the full breakdown?

We've put together a complete guide covering what the duty is, how much it'll add to different bottle sizes, what it means for nic shots and shortfills, and the duty stamp scheme that comes with it — plus a calculator so you can see the exact impact on your usual order.
